Borrowing resources from the Diocese
The Diocese of Canterbury promotes RE provision where pupils develop an understanding, appreciation and respect of all world faiths, fostering harmonious social inclusion and combating cultural prejudice. To support this aim, we offer schools ‘resource boxes’ containing a range of texts, artefacts, photography and information packs pertaining to each religion offered.
The Diocese currently offers resource boxes for:
- Christianity
- Islam
- Judaism
- Sikhi
- Buddha Dharma
- Hindu Dharma
The resource boxes may be borrowed for a term and are offered free of charge for CSC schools or £35 per term for all other schools. Please note that all lost or broken items will be charged at £10 per item.
To book the boxes for your school or to find out more information about the resources offered, please contact Natalie Ralph.
