This Easter we have been invited to join in the first live count since 2019 – and this year it will include those worshipping from home.
A handful of diocese have been asked to capture what is happening with the rhythm of life in our churches.
We are asking you to enter in your congregations’ numbers after Easter and before Saturday 30 April to help build a picture of our communities after lockdown.
Interim Diocesan Secretary Stephen Taylor said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to see how we are living and worshipping together after these extraordinary two years.
“We have all heard anecdotal stories about changes great and small, including new ways to reach people and how our thinking is evolving to bring in more people to share in our journey with God.
“What is particularly exciting is that for the first time we’ll be adding those joining us from home. We know church is much more than just numbers and this will give us a chance to reflect and see where we are today, to help shape tomorrow.”
